Kim Tae-ok | Busan, South Korea

My name is Kim Tae-ok, and I am from the Haeundae Bodhi Meditation Center in Korea. I have been battling diabetes for 15 years. My husband had a sudden accident, and during the two-and-a-half years of caring for him, my blood sugar levels skyrocketed to 500mg/dL. Subsequently, they became immeasurable, leading to complications from diabetes. Problems began to manifest throughout my body, and my legs were also affected by the complications of diabetes. Walking became a struggle. My toes were in constant pain. To avoid the pain of my toes touching the ground, I resorted to walking on my heels. I used to wear shoes of size 22.5cm, but my feet swelled to the point where I needed 25.5cm shoes.

Moreover, the doctor warned that I was at risk of going blind, and without glasses, my vision was blurred. My hearing also deteriorated, necessitating the use of a hearing aid. The hearing test revealed that I could only hear about 55%. The doctor cautioned that if I continued to worry and remain under stress, my hearing could worsen. Once your hearing decreases, it cannot be restored. The doctor said that losing my hearing was inevitable.

Additionally, my shoulders were in pain. The doctor explained that due to severe calcification in the shoulder, the pain was unbearable. After scheduling surgery and undergoing a pre-operation check, I was informed that I couldn’t have the operation because I was born without a left lung, and the surgery would cause me breathing difficulties. The pain in my shoulder could only be treated with weekly injections, but after several months, there was no relief.

A few months before my husband was discharged, I contracted shingles. The pain was akin to having an ice blade stabbed into my right face, and it was truly unbearable. The pain from shingles persisted for three years. Even strong painkillers couldn’t alleviate the pain. At that time, the pain was so intense that I didn’t want to live anymore. I was sick all over, and even with money, I couldn’t be cured. The doctor also said that recovery would be difficult.

In January 2020, I joined the Health & Happiness Retreat. On the fourth day of the Retreat, miraculously, I could lift my arm. From that time on, I could walk normally. The pain in my toes disappeared. I even told my husband that my toes were no longer hurting.

Now, I can not only walk the Energy Bagua, but also run. I am particularly fond of the Meditation of Greater Illumination, which I practice 4-5 times a day. My hearing has improved as well. I no longer need a hearing aid. The test results show that I can hear about 82%. I also don’t need cataract surgery. The doctor said my eyes are very healthy. I even asked the doctor why my eyes suddenly improved. The doctor said he didn’t know either.

My shingles were cured during the blessings. The blessings have greatly helped me. The normal index for glycated hemoglobin is 5.5%. My glycated hemoglobin has dropped from the original 12% to the current 7.2%, which is very close to the normal index. I’m only a little bit off.

The only thing I did was practice Bodhi Meditation, nothing else. I’m very happy, it’s wonderful. I never dreamed of a turn for the better. But with Bodhi Meditation, I regained my health.

Gratitude to Grandmaster.
