Who are the 12 heavenly generals?

The generals are the divine guardians of the 12 zodiac animals in the Lunar calendar, who helps the Medicine Buddha to benefit all sentient beings. Each of these guardians has their own 7,000 followers; these 7,000 followers also have their own thousands of followers. All in all, these countless of deities are spreading compassion of Medicine Buddha.
