Xie Li | Silicon Valley, USA

My name is Xie Li, and I’m from Silicon Valley, USA. I discovered Bodhi Meditation due to my health issues. Around 20 years ago, I developed abdominal adhesions as a result of surgery. The pain caused by abdominal adhesions had been bothering me for over 20 years and was progressively getting worse. I also experienced gastric distension. In the mornings, my abdomen appeared normal, but it would become bloated at night, making it difficult for me to bend over.

In 2017, my health condition was terrible. I weighed 160 pounds at that time, and my transaminase level, which indicates liver function, had reached 250. The normal index was 39. Additionally, I had an underactive thyroid gland and required medication. The dosage kept increasing each year.

Later, I attended the Bodhi Meditation Health and Happiness Retreat and began Spontaneous Fasting on the first day. After eight and a half days, I had lost 18 pounds. Surprisingly, my abdominal pain vanished suddenly. One day during the retreat, I pressed my abdomen, and the pain and distension were gone. I shared this news with the teacher.

After completing two sessions of the Health and Happiness Retreat, I truly experienced the joy and magical power it offered. Simultaneously, it opened a new chapter in my life. I now practice at the Meditation Center for 4 to 5 hours every day, including Greater Illumination and chanting. After six months, I retested my transaminase level, which had dropped from 250 to 50, nearly within the normal range. My thyroid index decreased from 500 to 300 and then stabilized around 100.

I greatly benefited from Bodhi Meditation. Many practitioners commented on my brighter and more beautiful appearance, and I felt a significant boost in vitality and physical strength. I was thrilled.

The guidance of the Grandmaster helped me discover myself and find the true meaning of life. I sincerely hope that all those who suffer from diseases and pain, just like I did, can regain a healthy and happy life.

Gratitude to Grandmaster.
