On July 24, 2024, practitioners around the world celebrated the anniversary of Guanyin Bodhisattva’s enlightenment, it was also the 21st anniversary of the miraculous appearance of Guanyin Bodhisattva above Grandmaster JinBodhi’s residence. Bodhi Meditation organizations and practitioners globally held various activities to commemorate this significant day with joy and reverence.
Grandmaster JinBodhi personally led an online broadcast titled “Guanyin Bodhisattva’s Protection” and launched the “Guanyin Bodhisattva’s Protection Chanting Class” on this auspicious day. He guided global participants in chanting the holy name of Guanyin Bodhisattva, expressing deep gratitude for the Bodhisattva’s protective blessings.
During a time marked by extreme weather and frequent natural disasters, Grandmaster JinBodhi and Bodhi Meditation practitioners, through the repeated chanting of Guanyin Bodhisattva’s holy name, extended peace to the hearts of those in need, provided blessings for their loved ones, and offered warm prayers for those affected by disasters around the world.
Guanyin Bodhisattva’s Great Vow: Responding to the Cries of Suffering
The miraculous presence of Guanyin Bodhisattva is felt everywhere. Anyone with a sincere heart can receive the Bodhisattva’s compassionate protection and benefit from it.
Guanyin Bodhisattva, with infinite compassion, vows to listen to the cries of suffering beings as if they were her own children. The Bodhisattva’s name contains the meaning of her attentiveness to the cries for help from beings in distress. Whether it be from calamities such as fire, water, disputes, or imprisonment, Guanyin Bodhisattva will offer her merciful protection, freeing beings from all suffering and harm.
