Bodhi Meditation is committed to promoting simple and easy-to-learn meditation methods to help the public improve their health. Since Grandmaster JinBodhi began his dharma teaching career on August 3rd, 1991, the influence of Bodhi Meditation has spread to more than 50 countries worldwide with meditation centers built in more than 10 countries and regions, enabling countless people to regain a healthy and happy life.

August 3rd is the anniversary of Grandmaster JinBodhi’s first dharma teaching and the most important festival for Bodhi Meditation. In order to commend the contributions of Bodhi Meditation to the community and encourage more people to learn meditation, the municipal government of Milpitas, where the Bailian Bodhi Meditation Center is located, has designated August 3rd as “Bodhi Meditation Day” since 2014. The annual celebration is the first important event of Bodhi Meditation to be recognized by a local government. It is also an important milestone in the rapid development of Bodhi Meditation in North America.

As the first major center for Bodhi Meditation internationally, the Vancouver Bodhi Meditation Center in Canada has adhered to Grandmaster JinBodhi’s compassionate philosophy since its establishment in 2005. The center has actively taught easy-to-learn, simple and effective meditation methods in Richmond, British Columbia, spreading compassion and care to the local community. The Bodhi Meditation Center has also received high praise and strong support from Richmond’s municipal government on many occasions. To commend Bodhi Meditation’s compassionate deeds, the governments of the province of British Columbia and City of Richmond have issued official documents designating August 3rd as “Bodhi Meditation Day” for six consecutive years.

August 3rd, 2021, marked the 30th anniversary of Grandmaster JinBodhi’s first dharma teaching. Vancouver Bodhi Meditation Center received congratulatory letters from Canada’s Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, and other government officials, congratulating Bodhi Meditation on its 30th anniversary.

Under the compassionate guidance of Grandmaster JinBodhi, Bodhi Meditation centers around the world will continue to practice compassion by serving society and benefitting all sentient beings.
