Did you know? The key to achieving good fortune, good luck, and success in life, has a great deal to do with your ancestors, parents, and children. Usually, a person’s relationship with their parents shapes their relationship with the world.
Virginia Satir, an American pioneer of family therapy in the 1950s, emphasized “the importance of working with the entire family rather than just the person experiencing difficulty,”[1] because one of her four fundamental assumptions was that “families are systems wherein everyone and everything impacts and is impacted by everyone and everything else.”[2]

Success in Life After Attending Chanting Class
Singapore | Rufang Li: A String of Good Fortune
After attending Grandmaster JinBodhi’s “Purity and Illumination Chanting Class” in February 2021, my family had a string of good fortune:
1. On Day 2 of class, my daughter called to share that her husband got a new job. His new company offered him a $25,000 salary increase, plus annual bonuses! In a time when all companies are struggling through the pandemic and many workers are experiencing unemployment and layoffs, I am so happy about this good news.
2. Around Christmastime, my younger son applied for an internship starting in March. Originally the company said he had to wait until he graduated in May, but on Day 9 of class, three weeks before the internship was supposed to start, the company contacted him to tell him he was accepted into the internship program!
3. On February 1st, my eldest son caught Covid-19 and developed a high fever, headache, sore throat, and bone pain in his whole body. After the course, he completely regained health, and although he infected my whole family, we only experienced mild symptoms. After a day of fevers we were back to normal, safe and sound. Gratitude to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas! Thank you Grandmaster!
Malaysia | Chibi Ong: A Miracle From Buddha’s Blessing
On the morning of the first day of class, my daughter called me urgently for help: her friend’s family was in a major accident. All five family members were seriously injured, the car was totaled, and their 15-year-old son’s hand was broken. The two younger sisters, both under 13, were still in a coma!
As we happened to be starting the chanting class, we sincerely chanted and offered lights for the two girls, giving all the merits to their family. We prayed for the compassionate blessing of Grandmaster, Buddha, and Bodhisattvas, for the two girls to wake up and recover as soon as possible.
Unexpectedly, a miracle occured! At noon the next day, I received good news from my daughter: the two little girls were awake. Now I know that the power of Buddha is boundless, and light offering and chanting actually works. Gratitude to Grandmaster, Buddha, and Bodhisattvas.
