Park Myounghee | Busan, South Korea
Frequent urination resolved through meditation.

Hello, everyone, my name is Park Myounghee from the Seomyeon Bodhi Meditation Center in South Korea. I had sleep issues for a long time, since I run a breakfast canteen, and it requires me to wake up at 2 or 3 a.m. On top of that, I had a problem with frequent urination at night (nocturia). I have to go to the bathroom every one to two hours, waking up at least three times a night. As a result, I seldom got any restful sleep, and I would start my day feeling drained.

Meditation Resolved Frequent Nighttime Urination

During the Health & Happiness Retreat, I am grateful for Grandmaster JinBodhi‘s guidance on the visualization for each movement and mudra. While performing the Universal Connectivity Mudra, I felt a current of energy in the soles of my feet. Also, when practicing the Wheel Mudra, I’d yawn, tears would uncontrollably flow, and I’d also feel warmth and a pricking sensation in the soles of my feet.

Since attending this 8-Day Health and Happiness Retreat, my sleep quality has improved. I sleep soundly every night, and my problem with frequent urination at night has been resolved.

Even when I have to get up in the wee hours of the morning to set up shop, and then rush to the meditation center for classes after work, I don’t feel tired at all. I am full of energy.

One more gift I received from the retreat: My eyes are no longer bothered by light sensitivity. In the past, I have to shield my eyes with my hand when looking at things to avoid the harsh sunlight causing irritation. But on the sixth day of the retreat, not only could I see distant buildings clearly, but I also no longer needed to shield my eyes.

I am truly grateful to Grandmaster JinBodhi.
