Cang Zhen  |  Taiwan

She used to suffer from mitral valve prolapse and heart palpitations. To compound matters, she was plagued by hives every autumn and her chocolate cyst was the size of a fist. After being advised that only surgery could remove the cyst, she started looking for an alternative way of improving her health.Let’s listen to Cang-zhen share her story of remarkable transformation.

My dharma name is Cang-zhen. When I was young, I suffered frequent heart palpitations. I underwent a medical exam at a hospital. Cardiac testing led to a diagnosis of mitral valve prolapse.

Over time, I began feeling chest discomfort. I felt my heart was weak. When shopping with me, my mom was the stronger one who carried things. She would carry the heavier bags, not me. I was confused; I was the younger one, why was I so weak? My issue progressed to the point that my heart would often pound while I lay in bed.

When I was a teenager, I enjoyed cold, icy foods. This contributed to my cold constitution. More troubles appeared as I got older. For about 10 years, I suffered from hives in autumn and winter. I would keep scratching my arms, which just made the hives worse.

In my 20s, a gynecological exam revealed I had a chocolate cyst. The cyst was only about 3 cm; I didn’t take it seriously. The doctor kept track of my cyst, and found that it kept getting bigger. It actually got so huge it was the size of a fist. Doctors and friends thought I needed surgery. I knew surgery was bad for my health. In many cases, this type of cyst grows back after surgery. That is why I was so against it.

Thus, instead of an operation, I preferred an alternative approach to health preservation. I started looking for more info online. There, I found testimonials about Bodhi Meditation. In December 2015, I signed up for the 8.5-Day Health & Happiness Retreat. Now I practice 3 to 4 hours daily. One thing really stands out in my mind: During Mid-Autumn Festival, I carried a box of grapefruit up the stairs without breaking a sweat. I thought nothing of it until my mom asked me how I felt. I was like, “Fine, why do you ask?”

Once, during a chanting session, we were listening to the healing music. It was my third time listening to Master’s healing drumbeat. That time, I could feel cold energy leaving my body from my stomach. My body had felt like a fridge. After the chills flowed out for a while, I felt my body warming up. I kept practicing at many retreats, and whenever I touched my cyst I could feel it shrinking. It disappeared slowly and subtly. I got stronger. Thanks to practice, my rashes have healed. I can feel my body transforming. Many people notice the improvement in me, saying that I have become younger, healthier and more energetic.

I thank Master for his wonderful dharma methods and for giving us the good opportunity to help others. Through volunteering my time and effort, I have benefited a lot, and my health condition is much better. I’m really grateful to Master. I hope that I can follow Master to help more people. May more people benefit from Bodhi Meditation.

The heart is the source of health and energy.
