#Bodhi Meditation light offering

The Buddha said that offering lights before the Buddha is a quick path to liberation. Mention of this appears in numerous Buddhist scriptures. Great Bodhisattva's Scriptural Basket Sutra states that if we light hundreds and thousands of lamps, our negative karma will depart. Avatamsaka Sutra states that the lamp of wisdom dispels all darkness. Many sutras explain that lighting lamps before Buddha can eliminate negative karma and destroy all darkness.
