Things to take note of when practicing
FAQ
- Wearing loose-fitting clothes will help you to feel more relaxed. During autumn and winter, please wear layers and put on indoor shoes to keep yourself warm.
- Choose a place that is quiet, clean and well ventilated. Be careful to avoid drafts.
- Sit on a flat surface, preferably on a blanket or cushion.
- Avoid practicing when experiencing unstable emotions such as overwhelming sadness, elation or anger. Start practicing when you feel calmer.
- Avoid practice during a thunderstorm or when weather is adverse. Do not practice outdoors when morning fog is heavy.
- The closing exercise is required after every practice (rub your hands, lightly go over your face, pat all over your body, and dust off). Do not wash your hands and face with cold water immediately after practice.
