Are you been bothered by your weight?

For those who are overweight, you may be frustrated by eating too much or entangled in illnesses caused by being overweight. For people who are pursuing a higher quality of life, slimming down seems to be a lifelong cause worth fighting for.

Using diet pills to lose weight usually involves less exercise and more side effects. Other methods have slow or poor results, and some are restricted by the venue or are prone to create rebounding. Losing weight blindly will definitely cause a vicious cycle and ravage the immune system.

Do you want to be rid of obesity?

Come with me! — Slimming down is an attainable goal.

A slim figure is the result of perseverance

We have helped many friends successfully lose weight and gradually became the “saviors” in the eyes of dieters. Often, some of these friends chat with us about weight loss.

Richen is one of those who successfully slimmed down from the prostration method introduced in the previous two issues of our magazine. In less than three months, she achieved her ideal goal as her weight dropped from 72 kg to 59 kg.

A few days ago, her friend Jane, who wanted to lose weight, asked to chat with me. We found a teahouse and sat down. At first, the conversation was relaxed and pleasant. After talking for more than 10 minutes, I gradually felt that she was attacking me in a questioning tone. She said, “I did the method according to what Richen told me. Why didn’t it work for me? Why is the method not working?”

I asked her, “Did you follow the full set of movements?”

“Yeah, I did!”

“Did you exercise?”

“Yes,” she said with helplessness and distress. “Why didn’t it work? Is there something wrong with my movements, or did Richen keep something from me?”

Looking at her sad expression, I really wanted to help her find the reason. But after asking her my questions, I determined that there was nothing wrong with her method. In addition to doing prostration for two to three hours a day, she also had adopted the 4-in-1 weight loss method introduced in the last issue: a small bowl, a water bottle, an elastic belt, and a mat.

“How long have you been following this method?” I asked.

“It’s been almost 10 days. Aside from some soreness, why didn’t I see any improvement? Why isn’t this method working?”

“Ten days?” I asked in surprise.

“Yeah, why?”

I suddenly remembered that at the end of 2011, I asked my friend on Facebook, “Do you have any benefits or regrets in 2011?” My friend replied, “My biggest benefit was sticking to a goal and making it a reality.”

I told Jane what my friend had told me, and said, “Your success in weight loss depends on whether you stick to this goal in your heart. In order to lose weight successfully, you must persist in doing it! How can you expect to achieve your goal after only 10 days?!”

She looked at me thoughtfully.

I took out one of the small cards from my wallet and handed it to her. The card had a short story printed on it:

Someone asked Grandmaster, “Is success far from for us ordinary people?”

Grandmaster said, “Not really. Success actually only requires three steps for everyone.”

“What three steps?”

Grandmaster replied, “Find a goal, act on it, and stick with it until the end.”

In fact, success is possible for everyone. As long as you take the first step, and stick to it, you’ll succeed.

I patted her on the shoulder and said, “A slim figure will only appear with persistence. How about we revisit this topic in a few months?”

She nodded with a smile.

……

Losing weight is a process of self-cultivation

One time when I was out with my friend Lingling, she said, “For a lazy person like me, it’s too difficult to exercise several times a week. I can’t control my desire to snack. Sometimes I follow the weight loss plan for a few days, but my weight would quickly rebound, and I’d gain even more. I heard that you have guided many people to lose weight successfully and regain a healthy and happy life. Is there a secret to it?”

I said, “Actually, weight loss is a type of self-cultivation. The success of weight loss lies in your inner heart. If you can’t lose weight, you should blame your lack of perseverance.”

When treating weight loss as self-cultivation, you should first calm your mind if you want to lose weight. Because there are so many temptations in the world, no matter how much you own, you always want more. When you realize that you actually only need a few things in this world, the demand for food naturally becomes less intense. This is the essence of losing weight. Reduce your inner desires like that of a practitioner; when your inner burdens lessen, your body and mind become crystal clear. How can a crystal-clear body get fat?

Losing weight can be cruel and terrifying for some who are obese, because they need to give up their beloved food and start exercising and dieting day and night. But what other choice do they have? It was their indulgence, laziness, and overeating that caused their current obesity. Most females care about their appearance and figure and wish to fit into size small clothes; or else why would they really want to lose weight!

On the way to losing weight, some give up and some persist. Those who persist understand the real truth behind weight loss: Weight loss is a struggle; it requires control, patience, and perseverance. “There are no ugly women, only lazy ones.” That’s the truth. If we can restrain ourselves, resisting the temptation of delicious food, and exercise more on a daily basis, we’ll have a healthy and slim figure sooner rather than later.

On the journey of weight loss, some give up and become deserters; they choose to give up when they encounter difficulties losing weight. Others know it’s painful, but don’t give up, because they refuse to compromise! They don’t want to be made fun of again and again; they don’t want to be secretly laughed at by the cashier when buying clothes; they don’t want to walk down the street and see people turn around to look at their bloated body; they also don’t want the illnesses caused by obesity. Because of these feelings, they will never give up. There may still be many difficulties in the future. How can they possibly avoid all of them? When they are old, they don’t want to look back and realize that they never lost the weight. How pitiful is that! There are many hurdles and challenges in life. They should have the courage to face them instead of avoiding them.

Losing weight is a type of self-cultivation and an attitude towards life. It’s about simple, light, hardworking, and persevering. The ultimate result is only reserved for those who are determined! If you often forget your goal and can’t control yourself, you will just brush past your dreams in the end. Slimming down is like a caterpillar transforming into a butterfly. When you experience the success of weight loss, you will understand one more truth: Whatever you’re doing, whether successful or not, depends on whether you can overcome yourself.

I’d rambled on a long time, yet Lingling had been listening attentively. I talked about Richen again and how she persisted in doing prostration for three months and exercised for three to four hours a day. Her efforts paid off using the 4-in-1 weight loss method. She lost weight!

With great motivation, weight loss becomes simple. Lingling was encouraged, “Okay, I’ll do what you say.”

If you have a dream, do it. Success belongs to you!

Sharing is giving

Richen is a loyal fan of prostration and the 4-in-1 weight loss method.

She used these methods for less than three months and watched her weight drop from 72 kg to 59 kg. Since then, she has been sharing her weight loss experience with everyone. “I used to be young and thin before I gave birth. I wasn’t able to lose weight for 10 years. I just gained more and more weight. I’ve tried so many ways to lose weight and spent a lot of money, but nothing worked effectively. It was so frustrating.”

Richen smiled and said, “In October 2011, I was fortunate to get the September 2011 issue of Meditation and Health. I saw the weight loss method of prostration introduced by Grandmaster JinBodhi and tried it immediately. I found the method to be really effective! Then I followed the 4-in-1 weight loss method as described in the next issue of the magazine. After a few months, my weight dropped from 72 kg to 59 kg! I am so happy. These methods are truly amazing; they don’t cost anything, have no side effects, and are truly remarkable.

“One thing is even more amazing: For more than 10 years I had serious rhinitis. I often had headaches, dizziness, congestion, continuous sneezing, constant nasal drip, which was embarrassing and painful. Now all these problems are gone because of the process of losing weight through prostration. It’s incredible!

“Also, I had severe constipation that often caused the hemorrhoids to bleed. For seven or eight years, it took three to four days to eliminate. It took half an hour to an hour each time. If the hemorrhoids broke because of pushing too hard, the toilet water turned red. It was so painful! Although I had two operations to remove the hemorrhoids in 2006 and 2010, there was no significant improvement.

“Now, in just a few months, several illnesses have been alleviated. I’m so joyful. I don’t know the theory behind it, but it works. It’s worth sharing!

“In fact, I have a lot of friends who are obese. They all have painful experiences of dieting. If there is a good way, I need to share it with everyone. If they can slim down using these methods, I would be very happy!” Richen is such a frank and outspoken girl with a kind heart.

Like most people, initially Richen didn’t know about prostration, the correct way to lose weight. She tried some weight loss drugs advertised in magazines. In the end, they weren’t effective. She tried very hard, spent countless dollars, and even did it at the expense of her health. In the end, all she got were several terrible sequelae (conditions resulting from an initial illness) and even though she had lost some weight, she didn’t look healthy at all!

Now, in order to save others from making the wrong decision and paying the painful price, the kind-hearted Richen can’t wait to pour out her weight loss experience:

“Many girls, like me in the past, have experienced or are experiencing the pain of weight loss and have paid a serious price for their mistakes. Prostration and the 4-in-1 weight loss method introduced in the Meditation and Health magazine are very effective, so I want to promote them to others. I hope my friends will learn the healthy way to lose weight and create the most beautiful version of themselves.”

The heart of sharing is a heart of giving and wisdom. We hope that more people can share their experience!

Let’s talk about weight loss: Is weight loss the only benefit of prostration?

Can prostration alleviate allergies?

A letter from Yan Yan, a woman with an allergy to sunlight:

Prostration is very effective for weight loss. I practiced prostration for one to two hours a day for six months and lost about 7 kg. I’d been a little chubby, but now I’m slim. It is a really good way to lose weight without spending money and enduring pain.

When I was a teenager, I suddenly suffered from photodermatitis (allergic reaction to sunlight). Whenever I was exposed to the sun, my skin would break out in a rash that was itchy and painful. After practicing for two months, I accidently found out that I no longer had any adverse reactions when exposed to sunlight! After that, I carefully tried several times just to be sure, and found that the allergy was completely gone!

This was a surprise. I had just wanted to lose weight. I didn’t expect that practicing prostration would also alleviate my photodermatitis that I’d had for the past two decades! Is this a unique case or does prostration have this effect?

Response:

First of all, congratulations on your successful weight loss! I’m glad you’re rid of the allergy. Your question is very good. Many people have the same experience you did regarding allergies. I want to tell you that you’re not alone. Many people have affirmed that prostration does have a positive effect on allergies.

Allergies are a hard-to-cure condition as they recur and last for a long time. Patients with allergies have many restrictions and precautions that inconvenience their life. The allergen of photodermatitis is sunlight, which is everywhere, making things even worse! To prevent those with that allergy from exposing their skin to the sun, they have to wear sunscreen, sunglasses, long-sleeve shirts, and pants when they go outdoors. Some people are allergic to sunscreen or suntan oil and will break out in a rash from that. Some patients may experience itchy or burning skin, and even blisters and erosions (loss of the outer layer). For those who can’t enjoy the sun, they lose much joy in life.

Prostration is a comprehensive fitness method that can help practitioners lose weight and shape their body, and also make it easy for the practitioner to enter a serene state through constant repetitive movement, thereby adjusting body and mind in order to regain health.

Therefore, Yan Yan, prostration has helped you lose weight and alleviate allergies at the same time. This is beyond your expectation, but it’s reasonable. Bless you!

Can I do prostration even though I have high blood pressure?

Letter from reader Feifei:

I am 162 cm tall and weigh 68 kg. I get very distressed seeing others who are slim, while I’m not. I’ve tried many methods, but none of them worked.

Since I started doing prostration, not only is my body slimmer, but my skin is radiant. When friends see me, they can’t believe I’m not wearing makeup.

Now I want to recommend prostration to my mother-in-law who is over 60 years old and quite obese, but she has high blood pressure. So, I’m wondering if she’s suitable for prostration? I am worried that excessive exercise may trigger her condition.

Response:

Hello Feifei! I am so happy you’ve benefited from prostration!

Patients with high blood pressure should exercise moderately, not excessively.

Usually after exercising, you should be a little short of breath, but not gasping; this is considered moderate exercise. If your mother-in-law has symptoms of high blood pressure, she may experience dizziness. For her situation, she can still practice prostration, but should do it slowly and gently with a peaceful mind. She shouldn’t do it too quickly or when she is in a bad mood. She should take a break if she gets dizzy.

Modern medicine tells us that moderate exercise for an extended period of time is beneficial for lowering blood pressure. Usually, people with high blood pressure can do interval jogging or slow-paced exercises such as Tai Chi, which not only regulates mood, but also regulates blood pressure. Prostration is a similar exercise, so you can do it without having to worry. Many of our practitioners had high blood pressure but were able to reduce it to normal levels through prostration. Prostration is actually very effective for lowering blood pressure.

Note: If your blood pressure is too high, it is recommended that you wait until it drops.

Your mother-in-law’s physique will gradually adjust as she practices more. You’ve already experienced that, so I don’t need to speak further about it.
